Course aims

This course will help you to gain or improve skills central to the role of a hotel receptionist and, in particular, will teach you how to use the Opera PMS booking and reservation system that is commonly used within the industry. Throughout the course, you will learn how to provide best practice reception, switchboard/telephonist and clerical duties to the highest standard. The course will also help you to write or update your CV and teach you how to write an effective cover letter and personal statement, making you more attractive to potential employers or helping to impress your current employers if you are seeking in-house promotion.
