Description

A lowdown of the course

This unique short course combines a sophisticated online platform with real-world, expert training. There will be eight weeks of learning and interactive lessons on how to test a video game across various platforms. You will learn all about the different types of ‘common’ bugs, the reporting procedures, how to communicate problems and issues to developers, and the various tools and software used in the industry. The course also incorporates a week’s work experience which will take place at Testology’s HQ, so you can see first-hand what it’s like to be in the thick of testing a game in development. At the end of the course, you will leave with a Testology Academy certificate, an impressive CV and a brain full of invaluable games testing knowledge!

This course is suitable for those wanting a stepping stone into the Games industry.

Requirements

We don’t stipulate required qualifications however, we do require candidates to have a real passion for games, have good communication skills, be able to work in a team & have good written English.

It’s expected that you attend 100% of the time at our offices in Aldershot, Hampshire.

For those students living further afield, it’s your responsibility to arrange accommodation for the duration of the course.
