This new course offers a unique option of gaining two recognised, certified qualifications in both computerised payroll and accounts. It offers support for new businesses to gain the required skills to produce a set of accounts, and to record personal details and pay their employees in line with statutory requirements.
It will offer certification in two separate courses over a shorter period for those who are already working in a payroll and accounting environment but have not, as yet, gained a recognised qualification.
By the end of the course you will have gained certification in:
IAB Level 1 Award in Computerised Payroll and
IAB Level 1 Award in Computerised Bookkeeping
Block study packages for work groups are also available to save on time and cost.

There are no formal entry requirements; however, it is important that you have good basic skills in numeracy and literacy which will be assessed during the enrolment session. You will also need to be computer-literate, with the ability to move around a computer screen with confidence.

Assessment method: Computerised accounts assignment; Knowledge tests; Computerised Payroll examination.
Should you already have a career in payroll and accountancy and need to develop your skills further you will find that these qualifications will give you a very good review of your payroll and accountancy knowledge. The course covers the requirements for a number of roles in a business. Salaries can range from £18,000 to £25,000 based upon experience and qualifications.
