Description

This online course covers four units which will provide you with valuable insight and understanding into the difficulties experienced by children and young people who present with mental health difficulties. Each unit requires approximately 5 hours of study.

The units cover an introduction to child and adolescent mental health, understanding autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), understanding anxiety and depression and self harming behaviour.

After successfully completing all four units you will be awarded with an E-certificate of Completion from the University of Derby and you'll also gain a digital badge for each unit completed, to recognise your efforts for each stage of the course.

This course has fixed start dates throughout the year.
