The Care Certificate aims to equip health and social care support workers with the knowledge and skills which they need to provide safe, compassionate care. Employers are expected to implement the Care Certificate for all applicable new starters from April 2015.

Care Certificate Standard 9 - Awareness of Mental Health, Dementia and Learning Disability – Online Training Course – CPD Certified

This Care Certificate Standard 9 e-learning course should be taken by all employees working in social care settings. Some of these include health care workers, care workers, care nurses, healthcare assistants and those providing support to patients and individuals in social care settings.

All our online courses are written for different levels depending on job role, i.e., from Level 1 to Level 6. It is recommended that learners should complete introductory modules, i.e., Level 1 modules before attempting Level 3-6 courses. Those who are new to health and social care sectors should complete introductory modules, particularly the Care Certificate. Some modules require additional practical assessments in your place of employment, for example first aid, manual handling of objects, moving and handling of people and resuscitation.
