Why do we need to look at holistic health?
Despite the interest in natural health for humans gaining great power the holistic health of our dogs is lagging behind. We are in the middle of a canine ill health epidemic and dog owners often consider the health of their pet exclusively a job for the veterinarian. In reality, providing our dogs with a visit to the vet when required and offering a regular bowl of commercial dog food is not enough.
This course will explore all of the other, often less-invasive and kinder, dog health options available. We teach the fundamentals of canine holistic health whilst introducing all of the lesser explored natural approaches for dogs, to keep them healthy and happy well into old age.
You will learn how the veterinarian, dog owner and natural therapist can work perfectly together in order to provide the best possible holistic healthcare for the dog.
This is a fantastic study program to add to the Canine Nutrition Training course, which we also provide. Although each of the two is perfect as a standalone course the information given within each of them complements the other perfectly.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Canine Holistic Health & Therapy Diploma Course will take you up to 150 hours to complete working from home. There is no time limit for completing this course, it can be studied in your own time at your own pace. The course comes with a course assessment in the form of quizzes, written questions and short essays, once you have completed your course assessment please email or post it back to us for marking, you will then receive your feedback and certificates.
