Our approach

Business coaching is a practical skill, with the addition of a resource kit. Our approach is that we practice the skill in the webinar environment, and use the resource kit outside of the training environment

This makes the webinar sessions highly focussed, active and practical, with opportunities to coach, be coached, receive feedback and work on coaching skills.

At the same time, we ensure that all the business planning tools are well studied, explained and applied, so that coaches can use them with clients.

Support

In order to develop well as a business coach, it is important to have time to develop the skills and practice coaching real businesses. We support you throughout the process, including::

  • Feedback on your development as a coach
  • Guidance on selection of businesses to work with
  • Mentoring support whilst working with your first client
  • Detailed feedback on your coaching practice
  • Unlimited tutorial support and mentoring through the process

Tutor team

The lead trainer for the business coaching programme is Charlie Warshawski. He has been coaching since 2007, and has run a number of business coaching organisations, on his own or with partners.

Since 2010 he has been supporting fellow coaches to develop their coaching skills, and their coaching businesses. He co-wrote the sustainable coach – a one-stop shop for growing your coaching business, which he makes available to all coaches.

Charlie says “it takes time, energy, focus and skills to establish a successful coaching business. The skills come first, then coaches can start working on their businesses”

Requirements

No previous coaching qualification is necessary to enrol on this coaching course…..

If you are not sure which coaching course to sign up for, we carry out a pre-booking informal conversation, to make sure that this course is the right one for you.

You will need to have one business owner who will be your practice coachee, to work with and to practice your business coaching skills on. We provide guidance as to how to organise this.

Career path

Successful candidates in this programme can expect one of two options. To be best placed to:

  • Establish a successful business coaching business
  • Join an established business coaching organisation or franchise (for this, we give plenty of guidance of who to consider and who to avoid!)
