Summary
Overview
Start studying the chemical processes which take place in living cells, with this Biochemistry course.
People are sometimes deterred from studying this subject by the thought of the chemistry and physics on which it is based. In this introductory course you'll be shown that it is quite possible to achieve an understanding of some of the fundamental concepts in biochemistry without building on a basis of pure science.
The approach will be practice related, with an emphasis on selected areas of the subject which can help to improve understanding of the provision of care to patients and clients. No prior knowledge of the subject is assumed.
At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement by ABC Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the details of all the units you have completed as part of your course).
