Description
At the end of the day, participants will be:
• Up to date with recent case-law and Supreme court decisions;
• Clear about recent policy developments in mental health and social care;
• Re-familiarised with some key cases of relevance to AMHP practice.
• Refreshed in their knowledge of the English legal and court system and sources of case-law.
Who is this course for?
AMHPs work with individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis and may require compulsory detention or treatment under the Mental Health Act. They work to protect the rights and well-being of these individuals and to ensure they receive appropriate care and support.
