This course is designed to address the challenges of modern manufacturing and enterprise systems. It covers a breadth of subjects that enable candidates to appreciate and deal with complexities of modern industrial environments.

Requirements:
A UK 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent internationally recognised qualification in an engineering, science or technology discipline. Other subjects with relevant work experience will be assessed on an individual basis.
Assessment Methods:
Assessment is by a combination of assignments and examinations.
Modules:
Modules include: systems modelling and simulation; manufacturing systems, design and economics; sustainable design and manufacture; advanced manufacturing measurement; robotics and manufacturing automation; computer aided engineering 1; dissertation. Optional modules include: Design of mechatronics systems (full-time students only); project management; quality management and reliability; global manufacturing; logistics and global supply chain management (distance learning only); managing people and organisations (distance learning only).
