The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Diploma in Accounting (Level 3) is an intermediate level qualification aimed at those already working in accounting who looking to develop and refine their accounting skills. AAT Diploma in Professional Accounting (Level 4) is the final and most advanced AAT accounting qualification, ideal for financial team leaders and senior accountants.
AAT Levels 3 & 4 has been developed with experienced Accountants in mind, focusing on transferable real-world knowledge and providing the skillset to carry out advanced accounting tasks in the workplace. Once you gain the expertise and confidence, you’ll be able to carry out comprehensive accounting tasks in the workplace as part of leading professional finance team.
This course package provides you with the skills to become a recognised Accounting professional, or member of an Accounts team and plays a key role in you having a successful career in Accounting and Finance. Whether you’re still in the early stages of your career or need to validate your skills and financial knowledge with a globally recognised qualification, our AAT Levels 3 & 4 package is right for you.
On successful completion of the AAT level 3 Qualification, you will gain the status of a Professional Bookkeeper and be able to use AATQB after your name. Once you complete the AAT level 4 Qualification, you will be a fully qualified Accounting Technician. On top of this you will also automatically become an affiliate member of AAT, and can also apply for internationally-recognised professional MAAT status.

When you are ready to take your assessments, you need to book your exam at an AAT approved assessment venue. We can help find the closest ones to you. Exam fees vary from centre to centre, we therefore recommend that you shop around.
This course is ideal if you have already completed or enrolled on the AAT Certificate in Accounting (Level 2) and you are looking to validate your Accounting and Finance knowledge to further your accountancy career, however it is not mandatory.
There are no specific entry requirements to take the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, however reasonable numeracy and communication skills are needed.
We do require you to be at least 16 years old in order to enrol onto the course.
The benefit of having an AAT certificate on your CV is that it can give you a competitive advantage in the job market.
