Overview
The Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) is a regulatory framework for alternative investment fund managers (AIFMs), including hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds. AIFMD was implemented across Europe in July 2013 as part of a programme to enhance the supervisory oversight of Alternative Investment Managers (AIFs), create new standards to protect investors further, and create a level playing field across Europe for alternative investment firms.
This interactive one-day course gives a practical account of the history, the regulatory requirements for firms and an opportunity to discuss future challenges.
Venue may change up to 14-days before the course start date. Enquire for dates.
