My client are looking to for a Web Developer to join their team due to expansion! Hellesdon, Norwich£35k–£40k per annum (dependent on experience)Hours of WorkFull-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (on site)Role SummaryThis role is essential to the business, with a strong emphasis on back-end development, and you'll be expected to build, maintain, and optimise websites and web applications that support their marketing and lead generation activities. You'll work closely with their design, marketing, and lead generation teams to deliver high-performing, reliable, and scalable web solutions for their clients and internal platforms.Key DutiesDesign, build, and maintain back-end systems, databases, and server-side logic for company and client websitesDevelop and integrate front-end features using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, NextJS, Fastify or Angular)Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable codeTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing websites and applicationsEnsure websites are optimised for performance, security, and scalabilityCollaborate with marketing and design colleagues to translate business and campaign requirements into technical solutionsMaintain data integrity and ensure GDPR compliance across all web systems handling lead dataStay up to date with emerging web technologies and industry best practicesSupport ongoing maintenance, updates, and hosting management of live sitesQualificationsGCSE/A-Level (or equivalent) Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; relevant industry certifications (e.g. AWS, JavaScript frameworks)ExperienceMinimum 3+ years' proven experience as a Web Developer or Software Engineer, with essential back-end development experienceSkillsStrong proficiency in a JavaScript framework (React, Vue, NextJS, Fastify or Angular); solid back-end development skills (e.g. Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar); database management (SQL/NoSQL); version control (Git)UI/UX design awareness; API integration experience; DevOps/hosting knowledgeTechnical test / Interview / Portfolio reviewKnowledgeUnderstanding of web security best practices, GDPR, and data protection principlesKnowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing fundamentalsWhat they offer:Competitive salary up to £40,000 per annumFull-time, permanent contractA supportive, ambitious, and fast-paced team environmentOpportunity to work on varied projects across a growing digital portfolioPlease email your CV to Louise today and I look forward to hearing from you!
