Average Governance Manager salary in the UK

The starting salary for this role is £52,047 per annum for working 36 hours per week. This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity. This is a hybrid role, and you will have the option of working from home for some of your week. You will be expected to attend the office 2 or 3 days per week. About the RoleThe Data Governance Analyst role is a multifaceted one which will see you involved in many aspects of the Data Governance Office's responsibilities. You will undertake data discovery work, including running workshops to understand and document business processes and data flows. You will work with teams and services across the organisation to identify and solve data-related issues, shape and implement solutions that align with data governance policies. In this role you will work collaboratively with data stewards to provide additional support and expertise across a number of disciplines, including data quality, metadata management and master data. You will also be an advocate for good data quality management practices and support the education of colleagues fostering adoption of best practice where required. As a Data Governance Analyst, you'll work close with the Data Governance manager to deliver a wide range of projects that enable the organisation to understand and solve data problems, embed best practice, and get greater value from its data. This is an exciting and varied role which will require a range of complementary skills and the ability to see the 'big picture' in terms of data throughout its lifecycle. About the role: The Information Security Governance Officer will support the InfoSec GRC team in all aspects of information security across the whole organisation, including overall information security governance, compliance programs, third-party vendor risk management, education, and Vendor Risk Management tool administration. This role is not a technical hands on role, but would suit an individual who has a technical background having worked with a range of technology and security tools who is now looking for an information security GRC role.
