Position: Financial DirectorLocation: Head Office, Winsford, CheshireCommitment: Part-time (2 days per week or equivalent) Role Overview:The Financial Director will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial health of the company. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will provide strategic financial guidance, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and contribute to the company’s overall growth and profitability. This role is ideal for an experienced financial leader with a background in sales and manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals.Provide financial insights to support decision-making and business planning. Financial Management and Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions as needed. Essential Requirements: Proven experience as a Financial Director, ideally in a sales and manufacturing environment.Recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).Proficiency in financial management software; familiarity with Epicor Prophet 21 is a plus.In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.Demonstrated ability to make tough decisions and guide the team towards financial goals.
