Plan, deliver and supervise a range of high quality Sports Coaching, Leisure and Fitness activities in order to assist with the promotion, deliver and integration of East Ayrshire Leisure’s Business Plan and the Sport and Fitness Team Plan.
The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants for such posts will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with either or both of these groups as appropriate, or if they are already a Scheme member, be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update, before any formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Leisure.

Rate of Pay = £9.42ph ~ £9.83ph
Hours of Work -
Saturday 9am - 5pm
Sunday 9am - 5pm
Plan and deliver a diverse programme of Sports Coaching and Leisure activities, Fitness classes and events, as agreed within the Sport and Fitness Plan, to a range of customers, including those individuals or groups identified as vulnerable or living with physical, sensory and /or mental impairments.
Assist with the generation of revenues through the promotion of forthcoming Sports Coaching, Leisure and Fitness programmes, events and other retail items offered within venues to achieve KPI’s in relation to memberships, customer engagement and attendances.
Provide a safe and welcoming venue for public use and colleagues, ensuring that all areas are clean and operational in line with the current maintenance and reporting procedures and Health and Safety legislation.
Carry out a range of front desk duties ensuring a professional approach when dealing with visitors/customers in accordance with the principles of good customer care as required within the remit of the post.
Overall Supervision of the Venue taking reasonable care for own health and safety and that of others. Using your discretion and experience to resolve situations that arise and escalate to the Sports Venue Supervisor (or nominated person) if required.
