Senior Commercial Claims Handler
Location: City of London
Salary: to £45,000 depending on your level of skills, experience and knowledge
Contract Type: This opportunity is offered as a 12 month rolling contract that will become permanent after 2 years.

They are providers of specialist commercial insurance products to the business community, with a strong footprint in the SME market. In recent years through a strategic plan they have successfully expanded their broker partnership network and developed a vibrant cover holder / scheme business.
As a result of this ongoing impetus you will be joining an insurer that is growing in revenue and increasing their market footprint.
You will be responsible for handling all aspects of a designated portfolio of claims, from first notice through to closure.
The post will require the candidate to be proficient in investigating, adjusting and settling insurance claims from lines that include; restaurants and cafes, traders, office, property owners, events and EL/PL & Products liability.
Experience in a similar claims role from an Insurer, MGA or TPA is required.
The capacity to be confident when speaking with policyholders, brokers, loss adjusters and solicitors is essential.
An ability to build partnerships with colleagues and work effectively as part of a team is important.
Being able to support less experienced team members and manage more complex claims is required.
