Market-leading provider of bespoke and innovative IT & software solutions seeks high-calibre and ambitious sales manager to join their senior management team, drive their growth and share in their success.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the sales function of a prominent provider of bespoke IT & Software Solutions, supplying a prestigious portfolio of large private and public sector customers. As Sales Manager you will be a part of our client's senior management team, and will be specifically responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy that drives revenue growth through maximising commercial opportunities within existing customers and winning new ones.

Key tasks will include:

  • Developing and executing a business strategy that will deliver a robust pipeline of opportunities across our client's proposition portfolio
  • Leading and improving a high-potential sales team that has consistently delivered outstanding numbers, and could achieve so much more
  • Personal key account sales with some of the UK's largest companies


Candidates

This role calls for an ambitious and "hands on" sales manager: with the proven ability to maximise returns from new and existing markets who is well-used to establishing and maintaining 'C level' business relationships.

You will have demonstrable experience, as a sales manager, of successful solution sales to large corporates, ideally with experience of the IT, BI, Telecoms, Telematics, Database, Networking, Big Data, or SAAS sectors.

Great leadership / management, communication and motivational skills are a pre-requisite, as is personal sales success and the ability to get the best out of your team to consistently deliver superior commercial results.
