Real Estate Solicitor - Head of Department - Path to Partnership
A leading Legal 500 listed full-service practice is keen to appoint a Real Estate Solicitor to a Head of Department position and to be responsible for the firms' Property Department and be based predominantly at the firms' flagship office in Coventry.
This practice is one of the largest within both Coventry and Warwickshire and has a network of offices throughout the area. It offers the full range of legal services to both individuals and commercial entities and is renowned for providing high calibre, expert advice. The firm continuously invests in technology to tailor its approach to the needs of its long-standing clients and it is particularly focused on continuous investment in all of its members to ensure constant professional development to aide progression opportunities whilst maintaining an exceptional level of client service.
As a consequence of growth and, vitally, with very specific consideration being given to strategic succession planning, the firm is keen to hear from an experienced commercial property solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE who has a desire to make significant progress in their career. This is a unique opportunity as not only is there the very real opportunity of attaining partner status swiftly, there is also no requirement for you to have a following. The firm already has a well-established and extensive client base so there are already instructions to attend to.
This is the perfect opportunity for somebody who is keen to take on a new and exciting challenge and who wants to get involved in continuing to build the department and increasing the practices' standing in the market, so this is not just a purely fee earning role and has a lot of variety allowing you to really make your mark.
This role would suit a current partner who is perhaps disillusioned in their existing firm and who is seeking a new challenge without having to deal with the complexities of bringing a client base with them. Alternatively, those who able describe themselves as a "frustrated number two/three" who are tired of promises of promotion in their current firm yet again failing to materialise and who are keen to take the step up.
