We are delighted to be making an appointment for the position of Learning Manager (Pastoral Year Manager) for our new 11-18 academy in North Yorkshire, due to convert in the near future to Outwood Academy Easingwold.

You will be required to support learning through the use of data, strategic intervention and monitoring in order to maximize student attainment. You will monitor all students in the year group, both academically and with behavioural issues. You will work closely with the Head of Deep Support, Inclusion Coordinator, The Bridge on Intervention Strategies, and targeting students for intervention.
You will utilize the MIS system in order to track and intervene with serial internal truants or students who are consistently late for lessons. Your role will have emphasis on intervention and student tracking throughout the day using the school’s "Praising Stars" system. You will attend case conferences and other meetings regarding students in your year alongside preparing referrals and reports for those students identified as needing intervention.
You will contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support in the school which promotes equality within and values the diversity of the school community.

Please note that there is currently a job evaluation exercise being undertaken across the Trust. The salary advertised for this post is therefore subject to job evaluation and may change.
