A large well respected Insurer seeks an experienced Insurance Project Manager to take end to end responsibility for a number of IT based projects.
This Insurance Company has been established for a number of years leading the market in their area of specialism. It is currently going through a large amount of change embracing and developing a wide range of new technology. This is an opportunity to play a key part in shaping the business and the overall success of the company strategy.
You will lead project planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities ensuring that comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained and issues are actively managed through to their successful resolution.
It will be your responsibility to manage third party relationships ensuring that dependencies are identified and managed and deliverables are achieved, as defined in the Project's Initiation Document and without incurring unnecessary cost or delay to the project.
You will ensure that project control procedures are in place, and actively used to assess the effect risks, issues, assumptions and change has on costs, timescale and/or resource needs and reports these to project sponsors.
Working closely with the wider project management team you will shares your knowledge and experience offering coaching to less experienced Project Managers in specific subjects and is actively involved in continuous improvement activities affecting the project delivery framework.
To be considered you must be able to display extensive Project Management experience within either an insurance or financial services environment. You must be able to display experience of PRINCE2 along with exposure to GDPR.
