This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a HR Consultant for a well established and reputable client who are based in Bishop’s Stortford. As an HR Consultant you will deliver and market a professional HR service to existing and new clients. This is very much a business development role, so it needs someone who is a people's person, able to network and increase our clients HR client base.

Main duties:

  • Nurture and promote relationships with existing clients
  • Networking to promote our clients HR brand, products and services
  • Developing relationships with new clients, identifying their needs and the appropriate solutions
  • Identifying new opportunities to build the business and broaden the client base
  • Lead client review meetings to ensure that expectations have been met, deliverables achieved, and satisfaction is 100%
  • Working with the marketing team produce articles, blogs, newsletters and develop our client’s website
  • Draft contracts, Staff Handbooks and policies for clients tailored to their individual needs
  • Provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures and employment legislation
  • Provide onsite and telephone support relating to disciplinary and grievance investigations
  • Manage the HR Portal to provide an online document resource centre
  • Assist clients in articulating issues relating to workplace relations and performance management and identifying the underlying causes
  • Provide practical and pragmatic guidance of solution options, ensuring that the client is aware and agrees to any risks associated with the chosen solution
  • Produce detailed written guidance notes giving clear direction to clients
  • Undertake specific HR project work to assist the needs of the client
  • Work with the Law Firm to provide a seamless employment law service to clients

Person skills:

  • CIPD qualified at least to Graduate level
  • Previous experience in a HR generalist role and a proven track record in business development/ sales
  • Commercially focused Customer orientated
  • Excellent IT skills

Package: Competitve salary dependent on experience,22 days hols plus bank hols, contributory pension, health plan, life assurance, annual bonus and subsidised parking.
