HR Business Partner

I am recruiting for an HR Business Partner for a client in Rochester, Kent. This company is rapidly expanding and is seeking someone to begin in January, however candidates with longer notice period will also be considered. This is a full-time position paying £33,000-35,000 plus benefits, including onsite parking, healthcare and 28 days annual leave. In this role you will report to the Chief Executive and work with the team to deliver an operational and strategic HR service to the company’s 120 employees.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Supporting and advising all departments with their HR needs
- Ensuring compliance with up-to-date legislation and proactively developing the HR agenda within the business
- Taking full responsibility for employee engagement, including development and performance management
- Managing the recruitment process for all departments from beginning to end
- Organising and overseeing the on-boarding process for new starters
- Managing staff personnel files including recording holiday and sickness information.
- Supporting all departments with HR matters, including employee disciplinaries, grievances and official meetings
- Managing the development and implementation of new HR policies and procedures

The ideal candidate must:
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a commercial HR role
- Be CIPD Level 5 qualified
- Have experience of managing employee engagement
- Possess excellent organisational skills and strong IT skills, including Excel
- Be well organised and able to prioritise workload effectively
