A North Yorkshire town centre hotel is currently recruiting for a Head Chef position
A Head Chef role is now available at a well established town centre hotel that is popular with both the corporate and leisure markets. The hotel operates a Brasserie style restaurant that seats 80 covers with menus that feature both traditional and more modern dishes prepared from fresh ingredients by the kitchen team onsite. The hotel is also a popular choice for conference and banqueting with a number of rooms and a capacity of 200 covers. The hotel is seeking to appoint a Head Chef who can push the food standards forward in order to further increase diner numbers whilst also ensuring that the kitchen makes profit and works within the financial boundaries that have been set in the budget.
A solid Head Chef who has been working in three or four star hotels where you gained a good knowledge of the corporate market but also catered for leisure guests. A strong knowledge of GPs, budget management, training and implementation of new cooking standards is essential for this role.
