Due to the launch of a new product range, my Client, an innovative technology brand based in the East Midlands, is looking to appoint a new Operations Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for a very customer-focused Senior Manager to come on board and make a truly positive commercial impact right from the start.
Operationally you will have day to day accountability and managerial responsibility for a team of 15 staff; 3 office based customer services staff, 3 field based Account Managers and 9 installation technicians. You will be responsible for establishing and monitoring customer satisfaction through the design of relevant KPIs, monitoring operational efficiency and ensuring continuous quality of service. Through Account Management, you will also ensure my client is developing and maximising sales with their exiting customer base. You will aim to become a subject matter expert in the company product range, so as to effectively support your team and address queries from key accounts.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team, including managing staff who work remotely. You will have an analytical approach to solving problems, strong commercial acumen and strong Account Management experience/understanding. You will also have a proven track record of ambition, be keen to improve, push boundaries and willing to try different approaches. A technical background is essential - you must hold an engineering degree or HND as aminimum (electrical bias would be advantageous) and experience in radio and wifi functionality will provide a distinct advantage. This role will require frequent national travel, with up to 3 days per week out on the road, so a flexible approach to working is also a must.
In return, you will receive an annual salary of up to £50,000 p.a. dependant on experience, plus a company car.
