Business Development Sales Executive - Global CDN Provider London}

Job Purpose:

A Global content delivery partner for thousands of entertainment, technology, enterprise, and government entities around the globe is looking for a Business Development Sales Executive. Customers include some of the greatest companies in the world: Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Pokémon and thousands more.

Seeking a creative, disciplined, high-energy and driven Business Development Sales Executive with sales experience in the field of CDN, SaaS, or related Web applications and technologies.

Essential Functions:

  • A tenacious closer that can establish new client relationships and expand existing opportunities
  • Optimistic and over achieving attitude
  • Disciplined and self-motivated sales executive with ability to work independently is essential
  • Conduct detailed research and be able to understand a client’s Digital Presence at all points in the customer workflow (Content Acquisition through Delivery, Optimization and Monetization)
  • Manage sales cycles including developing and optimizing a sales pipeline, maintaining pursuit strategies focused on key decision makers, negotiating key deal terms and closing contractual agreements
  • Sell with a thorough understanding of the issues of our clients marketing organizations and/or online publishers face and the global business challenges and enterprise technology issues that affect C-Level Executives, and Information Technology professionals
  • Work closely with the internal team, including SE, Professional Services, Marketing and Engineering to set appropriate account expectations pre-sales to ensure successful, satisfied customers
  • Maintain accurate and detailed sales activity reports in Salesforce.com, including all sales activities, forecasts and pipeline status
  • Some Travel required

Qualifications (Minimum Experience, Education, Training Skills):

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5-7 years combination successful inside and outside sales experience in a SaaS or related software industry
  • Experience with Cloud Computing/SaaS model strongly preferred
  • Very strong verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Web background and the ability to discuss Internet /SaaS technologies and compare them to traditional on-premise technologies
  • Innovative, competent with proven success in building high-level relationships within existing and targeted accounts
  • Highly effective in motivating and directing clients and team members
