- Assess an incident
- Exhibit the capability to administer first aid to an unresponsive casualty
- Offer first aid to a person experiencing choking
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
- Understand the procedure for administering first aid to a person in a state of shock
- Provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries.

Entry Requirements
- Entry to the qualification will be through a centre interview
- Learners should be aged 16 years and over.
- Learners should be able to work at Level 2
- Learners must have sufficient command of the English Language.
