Examination Only

This is not a course The PRINCE2 Re-Registration qualification is designed for those who have passed PRINCE2 to Practitioner level and wish to maintain their Registered Practitioner status. The PRINCE2 Examination Board has determined that all PRINCE2 Practitioners should be re-registered within 3-5 calendar years of their original certification (failure to pass the Re-Registration examination after five calendar years as a Registered Practitioner will result in withdrawal of your registered status). Providing you have trained with us in the past you can purchase this product and book your online examination.

Pre-requisites

You must have passed previously the PRINCE2® Foundation Exam and be within 5 years of having passed the practitioner exam. If you practitioner pass is more than 5 years ago you will need to re-sit the full practitioner exam.

Examination Format

Objective testing

  • 3 questions – 10 question items per question, each worth one mark
  • 17 marks or more required to pass (out of 30 available) – 55%
  • 1 hour (60 minute) duration, no additional reading time
  • Open book exam (official PRINCE2® manual only).

Online Proctored Examination Explained

Through our Examination Institute PEOPLECERT we offer the Remote Proctor U service.

This system allows a live proctor access to your exam as you take it so they can monitor the exam environment through your computer’s webcam and microphone. It’s just like having the proctor in the exam room with you but you don’t need to travel. Remote Proctor U must be booked in advance so that we can schedule the live proctor. This is done through a link and instructions emailed to you once this product has been purchased.

Preparing for an Exam

Do not sit the exam before you’re ready and feel confident. We recommend that you should only consider taking the exam when you have achieved the following:-

  • Worked through all the course sections and units at least once
  • You complete all the exam simulator tests and achieve a repeatable score of 55% and above.

Don’t feel nervous about the exam process. Unlike many competitors when you sit the exam, you will be connected to a live person (not an automated system) who will be there to guide you through the process and assist you with any technical issues.

Exam Voucher /Booking

When you purchase this product you will be sent an email with a voucher code and a link to use the code to make your booking. The exam is run through our examination institute APMG and their ProctorU proctoring exam service and has the advantage of being bookable at a time and day of choosing including weekends and evenings. When you have made your booking we will send you within 24 hours a confirmation via the APMG who will send you an email and a request to register on their website. Please note your voucher can be used at any time within the 180 day expiry and 5 days’ notice needs to be given before any exam booking.

Special Dispensations

There are some conditions (such as dyslexia) that qualify for extra time in the examinations. If you think you may qualify for extra time please let us know when you book your exam.

Please note that you will need to provide documentary evidence of the condition to qualify for extra time and give us 20 days’ notice of your booking.

What happens after Purchase?

As soon as you complete this purchase we will send you two emails. One will contain an invoice and the other a voucher code with full instructions on how to use it to make an examination booking.

This voucher will only be valid for 180 days.
