The Pitman Training Accounting Technician Diploma will equip you with a comprehensive suite of financial skills; everything you need to become an experienced finance professional. Such skills are in real demand as all organisations require excellent accounting staff.

Description

*Book-keeping Level 2 - Module 1 - Learn manual book-keeping, the double entry system, the basics of VAT, checking invoices for accuracy, day books, general ledger, purchase ledger and sales ledger, petty cash books and balancing ledger accounts

*Book-keeping Level 2 - Module 2 - Covers use of the double entry book-keeping system, bank reconciliation, sales and purchase ledger control accounts, accounting for bad debt, correcting errors, preparing statements of account, reconciliation of statements of account, paying invoices falling due and using information from within the double entry system to prepare a VAT return

*Book-keeping Level 2 - Module 3 - Covers using the journal in order to correct book-keeping errors as well as to record year end adjustments prior to preparing the final accounts a business usually prepares at year end which are, the profit and loss account balance sheet

*Practical Payroll Level 2 - Learn PAYE, methods of calculating pay, the role of HMRC, sick pay, pensions and National Insurance

*Microsoft Excel - Introductory and intermediate spreadsheet skills to a good business standard

*Microsoft Excel Expert - Learn advanced spreadsheet skills, covering areas such as importing and exporting data, creating and using templates, linking workbooks, data management, using analysis tools and pivot tables

*Sage Line 50 - Convert your manual book-keeping skills to computerised accounts using the most popular software

*Sage Payroll - convert your manual payroll skills to computerised skills using this most popular program including Statutory Sick Pay and Statutory Maternity Pay
