The NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L5DBIT) makes up the second year of the NCC Education degree and which builds upon the knowledge which is gained through NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology (RQF) (L4DBIT). Learners are exposed to advanced topics in a wide range of areas including information systems analysis, database development and the principles of business operations. In order to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills that helps them to play a significant role in IT and business organisations a balance of vocational and academic subjects are offered.

Requirements

Entry Requirements For entry onto the NCC Education L5DBIT course, students must have at least one of the following:

  • NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L4DBIT) OR
  • NCC Education Level 4 in Computing (L4DC) OR
  • A local or international qualification which is deemed to be of a similar level to the NCC Education L4DBIT qualification.

Career path

On successful completion, students are able to complete the final year of a NCC Education top-up degree.

1. The BA (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems top-up degree, validated and awarded by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

2. The BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology Topup Degree, delivered at our Accredited Partner Centres, awarded by the University of Greenwich.
