Milton Keynes College
Summary
Overview
Description
Understand All Cultural Aspects
For true cultural awareness, you need to understand the social aspects, values and morals, as well as the outward signs of individuality. It’s also important to try and understand the challenges that many people have to face on a daily basis, as they try and live harmoniously alongside other cultures. Workplaces that are deemed to excel in cultural awareness appreciate the benefits of diversity and include every group in decision making processes. They are also understanding, empathetic and committed to providing equality for all. This course can help you to apply this ethos to your childcare or educational setting.
Diversity is Important
Upon completion of this course, you will be one step closer to ensuring positive attitudes, so that every child can feel included, but also to help the children, and adults, in your setting learn that diversity is an important aspect of a rounded society. Embrace our cultural differences, and be the positive role model that your learning environment deserves!
