  • Understand Hazard Analysis And Critical Control Point (HACCP) so that you can address food safety through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product.
  • Know about the various types of hazards such as physical, chemical and allergenic hazards.
  • Understand some of the common physical hazards and know the factors that determine the risk level.
  • Get insights into the types of chemical hazards: naturally occurred, intentionally added, and unintentionally added.
  • The source of the chemical hazards such as the use of pesticides, fertilizers, equipment components like copper pipe fittings, food colourings, preservatives, etc.
