We regularly receive commendations for our course delivery, and achieve an enviably high pass rate in the end of course assessment which leads to an internationally recognised certificate for successful delegates.
Split into seven easily absorbed modules which are based on clear recognisable real life examples, the course allows for plenty of interaction through quizzes, games and discussion, with a flexibility of delivery to suit any business requirements.
Businesses benefit from enhanced hazard identification and risk assessment ability, increased employee involvement to improve workplace safety, enhanced reputation within the supply chain, and should an accident happen, a clear structured approach ensures a thorough unbiased investigation can be undertaken resulting in corrective and preventative actions.
Delegates attending this course can expect:
- Memorable and thought-provoking facts and case studies
- Modules backed by clear examples and recognisable scenarios
- Summaries to reinforce key points
- Checklists and materials supplied for subsequent use in the workplace
- Interactive quiz and discussions
- Practical exercise based on the operations of a real business
- Successful delegates awarded a Managing Safely certificate
Every delegate who has attended all 7 modules, then takes the end-of-course assessments which consist of a multi-format question paper on the last day of the course and they must complete a risk assessment project. This is usually completed in the workplace and returned to us within 2 weeks of the last day of the course. The project can be completed using either the IOSH project template or a copy of a blank company risk assessment form from the delegate's own organisation (providing it meets the criteria). There are also 2 mock assessments, each with 5 questions.
The course duration is 3 days (1 day per week for 3 weeks)
