Overview

Foundations is the first level of The Business Coaching Programme, which ultimately leads to WABC Registered Corporate Coach Status. The course provides delegates with the opportunity to build their knowledge and develop their practical business coaching skills. Learning takes place in an energetic and highly practical environment, with discussion and feedback from our world-class team of business coaches. Delegates leave the course with the confidence to have transformational coaching conversations back in their business. Following Foundations delegates may choose to attend Awareness and Evolution to complete The Business Coaching Programme.

Description

Three major elements are included within this course, theoretical knowledge, practical application of coaching skill and assessment of competence. These elements provide delegates with strong foundations on which to build their business coaching skill, while businesses have the certainty that their leaders and managers have shown their competence and are able to utilise their skills back in the workplace.

  • Applying the GAPS framework to coaching
  • Creating a connection
  • Contracting
  • A coaching methodology
  • Listening
  • Questioning
  • Your approach to coaching

Throughout the course, our belief that coaching is a contact sport is paramount and delegates are given the opportunity to practice the topics covered throughout the two days.

The course ends with a written assessment and an observed coaching assessment, where feedback is provided by our team of practicing business coaches.
