Description
What is the OCN?
Open College Network is an awarding body that provides certification for a variety of courses. We can guarantee that our course is of an excellent standard and covers everything a trainee practitioner needs to know. As a Maternity Practitioner, you will learn how to give essential care and support to a family with a baby between 0 to 6 months. It is a highly rewarding career, giving you the chance to really get to know the family you work with.
Within the course you will cover:
- Breast and Bottle Feeding Support Skills
- Skills to Support the Postnatal Mother in Establishing Effective Sleeping Routines and feeding
- Health and Hygiene Care of Newborns
- Meal Plans
- Information on how to effectively care for premature infants and multiple births
