Description

The CompTIA A+ certification ensures that the successful candidate has the important knowledge and skills necessary (Exam 901) to covers the fundamentals of computer technology, installation and configuration of PCs, laptops and related hardware, and basic networking. Exam 902 covers the skills required to install and configure PC operating systems, as well as configuring common features (e.g. network connectivity and email) for mobile operating systems Android and Apple iOS.

The eligibility criteria for the funding is:

  • Living in Scotland
  • UK/EU national OR have an Indefinite leave to remain (ILR) OR on a spouse visa (with access to public funding) OR a refugee visa (with access to public funding)
  • Earning less than 25k per anum OR have no income OR on receiving public benefits
  • Not in full-time education or modern apprenticeship and not using SAAS funding for any of the current courses you are studying

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
