The seven core unit modules you will learn on the CIPD Level 7 Advanced in Strategic People Management are:
Core Modules
- Unit 1: Work and Working Lives in a Changing Business Environment - Investigate current and future mindsets within organisations around technological developments; social and economic trends
- Unit 2: People Management and Development Strategies for Performance - Study areas of resourcing and performance management and learn how to critically evaluate ethical challenges
- Unit 3: Personal Effectiveness, Ethics and Business Acumen - Critically assess ethical standpoints in people practice and how it maintains high standards
- Unit 4: Business Research in People Practice - Distinguish between primary and secondary data, conduct, cost and benefit analysis for research
- Unit 5: Resourcing and Talent Management to Sustain Success - Evaluate attraction and retention while comparing ways organisations build and maintain positive reputations in labour market
- Unit 6: Strategic Reward Management - Examine key factors that influence the design of effective reward policy, including principles of transparency and equality
- Unit 7: Strategic Employment Relations Elective - Analyse the role of determining pay, review the pros and cons of arbitration, conciliation and mediation
