Autodesk Civil 3D - Live Online Training

This is a live online training course.

Autodesk Civil 3D is the industry leading software for civil engineering and design.

Civil 3D Essentials teaches the fundamental features of Civil 3D, including techniques for civil design, transportation work, land planning and development.

Our intensive, 3day course teaches the key features of this fantastic Autodesk application.

Modules include:

• Working with point data
• Surface modelling
• Developing sites
• Modelling roads, corridors and pipe networks
• Data sharing, presentation and visualisations

Civil 3D training is hosted by an Autodesk Certified Instructor, who is an industry expert and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors, with vast experience of using the application professionally.

Armada is an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our Civil 3D training courses are accredited by Autodesk.

Training combines lecture and demonstration. Delegates receive:

• A comprehensive training guide for Civil 3D, to refer to throughout the course, and to use as a refresher afterwards.
• An e-certificate confirming successful completion of an accredited Civil 3D training course.
• 30 days' after-course support.

Our approach to live online training

We do everything possible to make your experience as close as possible to actually being in the classroom…

• You can see and hear our trainer and the other delegates.
• Our trainer and the other delegates can see you (via your webcam) and hear you.
• We’ll post you printed training materials, and make the course files and resources available for you to download.
• Your training is hands-on: you’ll practice and carry out exercises throughout.
• If you're learning to use an application and don’t have access to the software, we’ll send you a link to fully-functional trial software that you can download and install.
• If you need assistance, you can share your screen with our trainer, and pass control to them.
• Should you want to send a private message to your trainer, you can do so using chat.
• You’ll receive an e-certificate confirming successful course completion.
• You’re entitled to 30 days’ email support from your trainer.

This course is ideal for newcomers to Civil 3D and novice Civil 3D users who want a thorough grounding in the application and its key features. Typical delegates include civil engineers, land planners and surveyors.

Delegates must have a working knowledge of an Autodesk CAD application, such as AutoCAD or Revit. If you don't have this knowledge, we recommend you attending our AutoCAD Essentials training first.

You will need access to a computer running Civil 3D for the training (we can provide details on fully-functioning free trial software if required).

Civil 3D is ideal for those wishing to go into civil engineering and civil design.
