Lecture eight examines auditory rehabilitation and communication strategies, including auditory training, communication tactics, speechreading, and the psychosocial impact of hearing loss on individuals and families.
Lecture nine introduces clinical practicum awareness and case studies, focusing on patient management concepts, counselling skills, interdisciplinary collaboration, and problem-solving approaches within audiology settings.
Lecture ten focuses on research methods in audiology, introducing research design, data collection and analysis, and ethical considerations relevant to audiology research and evidence-based practice.
The assessment evaluates learners’ understanding of audiology concepts, professional awareness, ethical considerations, and communication-focused support strategies.
