Description

Our Access to Higher Education QCF Level 3 Nursing and Midwifery Diploma is regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), the official regulator for Access to Higher Education, who safeguard quality and standards in UK Higher Education and is accredited by Ascentis, (The Federation of Awarding Bodies awarding organisation of the year 2017).

The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is the new credit transfer system.A Level 3 QCF qualiifcation is equivalent to A-Level standard. This Level 3 Diploma is equivalent to 3 A Levels and allows you to apply for university entry to get fully qualified.

Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone who is looking to get into a Professional Healthcare career (Nurse, Midwife etc), and wants to go on to get qualified by gaining a University degree, but doesn't currently have the necessary qualifications to do so. It is fully flexible for learners who have work, family and lifestyle commitments and don't have time to attend college and classes. There are no upper age restrictions.

Requirements

You must be aged 19 or over and be based in the UK to do this course. You need English and Maths GCSE grades A-C or Functional Skills Level 2 for this course. (If you have one and not the other you can study this at the same time as the course). To gain a place at University after completion, you may require both Maths & English GCSEs A-C (or equivalent). Please make sure you check entry requirements with your intended University before.
