FOUNDATION IN ACCOUNTING
FA 1
Gain solid grounding on business transactions, banking system, double entry book keeping, payroll and ledger accounts, and reconciliation and preparation of trial balance.
MA 1
Understand the key aspects of management accounting, including the nature and purpose of cost and management accounting, cost classifications and cost recording. Also learn how to effectively use spreadsheets.
INTERMEDIATE IN ACCOUNTING
FA 2
Get up to speed on accepted accounting principles and concepts, bookkeeping process, preparing trial balance, journals and ledger accounts and reconciliation of control accounts and cashbooks. Also become versed in partnership accounts.
MA 2
Learn about the role of costing in organisations, how to describe, classify and record costs, and how to apply a variety of cost accounting techniques. Also get a good grasp of using management accounting to make sound decisions and how to use spreadsheets more effectively.
ACCA Exam
To obtain the award, you must register directly with ACCA and take the exam at one of their dedicated exam centres. See ACCA’s website for further details.
Course Format
This course consists of several modules, each of which is self-contained. This ensures that students can easily get the information they need when they need it.
Students can completely access the course using a PC/laptop. Our learning management system (LMS) is 24/7, the LMS itself is accessible online and operational everyday at any time, students have the freedom to tailor their study time around their existing schedules.
Course Duration
Estimated duration of completion for this course is 120 hours. Such number of hours may be cut shorter or may take longer depending on the students’ pace of learning and ability to take in information. Also, students’ may choose to study the modules over several sessions or complete the entire course in one sitting.
One year full access will be given to students who intend to take the course. The students can then define the pace at which they will complete all modules within the abovementioned period.
