AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, accredited by The Association of Accounting Technicians, is the most sought-after AAT qualification and is your entry point to a successful career in accounting. AAT Level 2 is the ideal certification for individuals who are looking for a knowledge level that will give them a firm introduction to the Accounting industry using the AAT qualification framework. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration, covering areas including double entry bookkeeping, basic costing and using accounting software.

This AAT Level 2 course is focused on giving you practical, real-world knowledge that you can utilise in your workplace. The new syllabus doesn't include Sage, however we have continued to include training for Sage Business Cloud as we understand from our close partnerships with businesses that Sage is a desired skill that businesses need.

This course provides you with the skills to become a recognised Accountant or member of an Accounts team and it is your crucial first step towards a successful career in Accounting or Finance. Also suitable if you’re starting your career or need to validate your skills and financial knowledge with a globally recognised qualification.

Assessment Information

There are four assessments in total:

Requirements

You don't need any prior experience or qualifications to enrol but should have reasonable numeracy and communication skills.

We do require you to be at least 16 years old in order to enrol onto the course.
