Description

The course is accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), the UK’s largest professional body for accounting technicians, so it’s internationally recognised and sought-after by employers.

It's highly flexible, so you can set your own timetable and study at your own pace. Live online classrooms during lunchtimes, evenings, and weekends make it easy to fit learning around your life. They're also recorded so if you can't make it, you can watch them back and re-watch them as many times as you need.

As part of the AAT Level 2 Foundation Award in Accounting Software, you'll learn the following skills:

  • Set up accounting software
  • Process sales and purchases transactions
  • Process bank and cash transactions
  • Perform period end routine tasks
  • Produce reports

The course should take you around 60 hours total to complete, and is worth 6 UCAS points.

It sits on the Qualifications and Credit Framework at Level 2, or Level 5 in the Scottish system.
