AS Level

  4. Approaches in psychology
  5. Psychopathology
  6. Research methods

Paper 1 will cover content from topics 1-3

Paper 2 will cover content from topics 4-6

A' Level

  1. Social influence
  2. Memory
  3. Attachment
  4. Psychopathology
  5. Approaches in psychology
  6. Biopsychology
  7. Research methods
  8. Issues and debates in psychology

You will also study the following additional topics:

  • Cognition and development

  • Eating behaviour

  • Addiction

Paper 1 will cover content from topics 1-4

Paper 2 will cover content from topics 5-7

Paper 3 will cover content from topics 1- 8 and additional topics

This A' Level specification will be available for first teaching from September 2015

Requirements

It is recommended that students should be educated to GCSE Grade C or equivalent and have a reasonable standard of literacy. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 24 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.

Hi Lydia Depending where you will be sitting your exam, you would either take the international version or the UK version of the course. Entry requirements are that you should be educated to Level 2 or hold IGCSE grade 'C' or above. Kind regards Student Support
