Cashier Business Unit: Restore Technology Location: Bedford Contract Type: 3 Month Fixed Term Contract - Full Time Hours: 37.5 - 9am - 5.30pm Salary:£25,000 The role of the cashier is to support the Finance Team Leader. The Cashier will record and account for all receipts of the business, perform credit checks on customers, and set-up and maintain customer accounts. The cashier will strengthen the accuracy of ledgers in a timely manner by working very closely with the accounts receivable function, creating a strong processing team dynamic. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensuring all cash is allocated to the correct customer accounts and invoicesDeal with account queries promptly and efficientlyHousekeeping of customer accountsEnsure refunds are processed for customers accurately and promptlyAssess new credit requests and review customers’ credit ratings with our facilitiesActivate new customer accountsReconcile sales ledgerAssist in the export and import of sales invoices from multiple systems to oneAny other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
