Totum Partners are delighted to be working with a  Leading Law firm recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join their financial operations team.  You will be working in a small team reporting to the Senior Cashier and will be focused on Client Accounting function and provide cover giving you exposure across the cashiering function. The ideal Legal Cashier will be responsible for: Handling client account cheque receipts and payments. Processing journals and bank transfers. Managing deposits and CHAPS payments. Reconciling bank statements with Elite 3E. Addressing internal queries and liaising with banks. Conducting ad hoc tasks. Managing office account cheque payments and receipts. Entering and reconciling supplier invoices and statements. Processing purchase ledger BACS payments. Uploading supplier CSV files to Elite. Chasing internal disbursement allocations. Processing nominal journals. The ideal Legal Casier will have: Experience in Client & Office Account tasks. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage time under pressure. Excellent attention to detail. Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of Solicitor's Account Rules and VAT regulations. Awareness of Money Laundering regulations. Efficient handling of queries from fee earners and internal stakeholders. Team-oriented, flexible, and willing to assist others.
