Banking Cashier Start Date: ASAPWorking Pattern: 5 days per week, in Brach (Central London) Candidates must have previous experience in cashiering within a banking environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Counter Operations Perform cashiering duties including handling cash deposits and withdrawals, cheque processing, and foreign exchange transactions.Serve as the first point of contact for customers visiting the branch, including VIP clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.Process bill payments, standing orders, and other account transactions over the counter.Assist customers with cheque book, debit card, and credit card requests, and guide them to relevant services on the clients website.Support clients with Safe Deposit Box access and maintain accurate records of usage. Branch & Operational Support Monitor and manage cash volumes held within the branch, including ordering and reconciliation.Maintain, replenish, and balance ATMs within the branch.Answer incoming telephone calls and assist with customer queries or direct them appropriately.Liaise with Relationship Managers to support Private Banking and Corporate clients with their transactional needs.Provide cover for processing incoming and outgoing payments as required. Compliance & Administration Review and update customer files in line with internal procedures.Demonstrate a sound understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and ensure compliance.Escalate customer issues or concerns to the Head of Department or Management when necessary.Assist with general administrative duties and support the wider team as needed.
