If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Cyber Security Analyst in the vibrant city of Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

Threat Detection and Analysis: Utilize advanced tools and techniques to monitor, detect, and analyse potential security incidents.

Incident Response: Actively participate in incident response activities, providing timely and effective responses to security incidents.

Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential weaknesses in our systems.

Security Policy and Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies and standards, keeping abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Security Awareness: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of security awareness and educate employees on cyber threats and best practices.

Security Monitoring: Implement and maintain security monitoring solutions to proactively identify and respond to security events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices.

Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint protection.

Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.

Skills and Abilities:

Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving security issues.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
