Technology Architecture Manager - Big4 Consultancy - Financial Crime - London

  • Provide SME expertise in the Financial Crime Transaction Monitoring area that has been acquired from a compliance, business or IT perspective
  • Provide leadership, guidance and the approach to analysing complex business issues in the Financial Crime area from initial risk/issue through to implementation
  • Scope and lead the delivery of analytical work, support and guide junior team members as required
  • Manage and quality control functional work streams in a wide range of project contexts
  • Leverage your skills and experience to support the development of proposals and marketing propositions
  • Evaluate new technologies to expand the scope of the team's work and improve its efficiency
  • Contribute to the firm's talent agenda and help create a more inclusive culture
  • To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

To be considered, you must have:

  • Significant practical experience in assessing, developing and designing technology architectures in relation to regulatory changes in financial crime
  • Strong capability in reviewing systems and data, suggesting architecture improvements and highlighting inadequate or ineffective technology capabilities
  • Possession of a strong understanding of technology change from a technology, process and people perspective
  • Deep understanding of the financial crime technology landscape (vendors, solutions)
  • Experience of architecting solutions incorporating artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics
  • A strong understanding of the financial services industry
  • A desire to understand business problems and to evaluate the results of your work in a business context, including the ability to analyse technology architecture and effectively communicate this at various levels within organisations to get support for rolling out changes and improvements
  • Experience of leading and mentoring teams through analysis and implementation
  • Ability to manage client expectations and deliver to clients
  • Effective time management and the aptitude to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that you can adapt to technical and non-technical audiences
  • A willingness to be involved in practice development initiatives
  • The availability and willingness to work abroad
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience, acquired in a technical or engineering discipline
