Due to continued business growth, our Newark based client is looking for a Project CAD Technician with some sales experience to work in their fast-paced professional team. The ideal candidate will have previous CAD experience, ideally MicroStation, in a construction or commercial interior design company.

This is a very interesting and varied role, which requires good attention to detail and strong numerical and analytical skills. You will be a strong communicator, able to comfortably liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure projects are carried out to agreed budgets and timescales. You will be required to accurately interpret design drawings and order supplies accordingly.

In order to be considered for this role candidates must have:

  • Good Microsoft Office and Outlook skills

  • CAD experience, ideally using MicroStation

  • Experience of working in a construction/commercial interiors environment would be an advantage.

  • Previous technical sales experience.

  • Strong organisational and administration skills and a confident self-assured attitude.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

    Our client is looking for an enthusiastic 'go-getter’ who is looking to help grow the business with a view to progressing within the company and carving out a developing career.

    You will need to have a full driving licence and use of your own vehicle for occasional site visits.
