We are recruiting for a Technical Account Manager for a world wide services and software provider to the automotive refinish industry to cover on a national basis. You will mainly have to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with the assigned clients.

You will service existing customers in UK and Ireland and support the sales team with the customers growth.

Salary £35,000 to £45,000 + up to £3600 bonus + Car + laptop + phone & benefits



Key Responsibilities

  • To establish a list of specific Accounts and to prioritise those accounts
  • To establish an Account plan for the existing accounts including the opportunity analysis, internal and external stakeholder identification
  • To set up targets and action plans for the next budget period
  • Contact and meet existing customers regularly for ongoing evaluations
  • Develop dedicated proposals for new businesses
  • Understand all the business models in order to recommend the right products and services to ensure you cover the customer's needs
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to the customers in a timely manner
  • Contributes to the development of technical products and services whilst maintaining and ensuring the new market standard
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant CRM tools ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed



Knowledge & Skills

  • NVQ level 3 required or extensive practical experience of complex software account support
  • Good knowledge of the UK&I Automotive and insurance industries
  • IT literate with Microsoft Office Products
  • Valid full driving licence / Expected to travel 75% (in the UK and Ireland)
  • Experience in a field-based role
  • Excellent time management
